This guide was developed specifically for Structural Insulated Panel (SIP) buildings. A SIP building has to meet the same requirements that all buildings meet. Hence these "building" requirements need to be understood. What will become obvious as these requirements are explored, is that SIP buildings meet many of these requirements more easily than typically constructed buildings.
